something extraordinary

i was talking with my cousin stevey a couple days ago and i promised him that i would name my son after him if he did something extraordinary in the next month. then i thought maybe i would extend the offer to everybody.

here's the deal, if you want our son named after you, you have about 5 more weeks to do something extraordinary. prove it to us and we'll choose the winner on or around the 23rd of october...

here's a quick example. however, we will not be naming little man: bruce.

p.s. that's a nunchunk. and i think a yellow suit with a black racing stripe.

Wade and my dad loved it, Peter. My dad was laughing the whole time. They said, "Just wait and see what we can do."

weak rhyming isn't an extraordinary skill.

well, i guess it depends on how "extraordinary" the feat accomplished is . . .

or, i'll just have to rig it so that someone named william wins ;)

I did something extraordinary. I predicted my three teams would lose yesterday. BYU, Utah, and REAL. What a disappointing day. But I was certainly extraordinary in my predictions. So name the kid, Ronald Mackay William Frandsen.

Extraordinary? I ran (walked) my FIRST 5K.
(I guess it is not so extraordinary since all my little grandkids did too.)

But, how about SHAUN Shigeki William Frandsen?

At the risk of getting in trouble with Nick because he doesn't toot his own horn - his extraordinary fete of the week was passing the Utah Bar. (He didn't even tell his friends he was with the day he learned the bar results.)

But, Nicholas William Frandsen has a very dignified ring to it.

to my family...

I don't think you guys know what it means to be extraordinary. being pessimistic, having a coincidental name, or doing things that lots of people do doesn't qualify for our boy's name.

nick congrats. but passing the bar isn't quite a high enough bar for consideration.

did you guys not see bruce lee's wild skills?

you still have a month to qualify, so you don't need to ratlle off your weekend events... ;)

I'm extraordinary because I gave you birth. On top of that I raised you to be the extraordinary son that you are. THAT certainly took effort.
Top that!!!

I raised Stephen!

Wow, that ping pong event was EXTRAORDINARY. I don't think I have anything in my life that would qualify in that category. I'll give it a think and come back to you and wow that pregnancy shmock off you Peter. Just you wait.

You should name your son, Zachary William Frandsen. Zach said to me, "Grandpa, the sun is 70,000 degrees warmer than the earth."
I said, "Zach, how do you know that?" Zach replied, "I read it in my science nature book."
We all sat there with our mouths open, dumbfounded.

Add to that...Zach had a breakaway run and scored a goal in his soccer game. After the goal he pumped both fists in the air. That was EXTRAordinary in my book.
