new beginnings...

emily and i started a lamaze class two weeks ago. it was there that i found this lovely gem of a poem that is too tender not to pass along.

A strong woman works out every day to keep her in body in shape,
But a woman of strength looks deep inside to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything,
But a woman of strength in shows courage in the midst of her fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her,
But a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future,
But a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be blessings and capitalize on them.

A strong woman walks sure footedly,
But a woman of strength knows when to ask for help.

A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face,
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey,
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Beautiful. That's exactly the poem Wade recited to me when I gave birth to Emmy...

Beautiful, profound thoughts on a woman's strengths. How appropriate for a 7 month pregnant mother to be.

Hope you are enjoying your Lamaze classes...with lots of pillows.
Brings back memories. You'll be a great support to help Emily focus and concentrate. Puff, puff, puff, breathe.
Love, Mom

Pete, someone just forwarded that poem to me...is that the latest up and coming? Are you claiming Mississippi penned it? :)

A strong woman thinks it is nice to be fat (pregnant).
A woman of strength knows it's phat to be nice.
