let freedom ring.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and from New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and it's time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today.
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the U.S.A.

on this beautiful 4th of July, i'd like to announce our family's gratitude for an amazing country and keep in line with the Keesler AFB trends (remember the video from this night at the mardi gras ball?) by quoting a few special and meaningful lines from "I'm Proud to be an American." from the majestic hilltops of salt lake, to the oil-filled air of biloxi, to the buzzing new york city streets, to the sandy beaches of los angeles, we frandsens are proud to be americans!

in celebratory manner, our good friends, the olsens came to visit for the weekend. together we basked in the luxuries of living in a free country. this will be the olsens' last 4th of July in our great country before they head to the schnitzel and lederhosen land of Germany. we feel privileged that they would spend such an important weekend with us here in biloxi, ms. to express our brimming emotions of patriotism and friendship, we dedicate this movie to you, Olsens, and to you, USA.

Awesome video. I love how you put the ages at the end. Very informative. Were we supposed to hear anything? Because we didn't. Looks like you guys had a great time.

youtube has some odd rules about copyrighted material, so it automatically cut out all of our audio. so i reposted another video. so if you have 7 more minutes to spare to get the full effect, enjoy some jack johnson, grateful dead, and laughter of children...

Peter, it was great to hear from you on our blog, it looks like you are super happy. Your baby William is so adorable, really just adorable. What a small world...Bonnie and I have become great friends and last year when we played the whole "do you know game" your name came up. We said nothing but nice things about you:) If you are ever in town look us up.

Very cute video and so patriotic! I want to go and tie-dye something. Maybe Christmas t-shirts for the whole family.
